During the 18th century a double wardrobe was considered a good size when it would be able to hold within its capacity, eight small men.

To be honest, the first time I entered a New Look store I was a little bit overwhelmed with all the color and girliness. However, when I started to take a closer look I found some items that I liked, and as you might already know, I'm a huge fan of affordable fashion, so I soon found myself wanting this store in the centre of Amsterdam. That's exactly why I got so excited to go and see their new collection in the Dylan hotel last tuesday, because I knew that afterwards I would actually be able to say I'm going to buy some pieces once they hit the store, seeing as how I can totally afford them, even after I've just paid for my summer holiday (!). I must say, the collection totally blew me away and was beyond any of my expectations. There are four grand notable themes in their collection, of which I really liked the basic denim theme, consisting of colorful and original jeansshorts and the rock part of the collection, of which I literally want to have everything. I know I might dress kind of preppy most of the time, but in my head I've always wished I was one of those rocker girls, always wearing black, crosses and skulls. Above are some of my favorite pieces, although I must admit I didn't photograph everything I liked (would have taken ages). I think I will definitely look for the skull sweater and the biker boots once they hit the stores in august. I'm also a big fan of the statement necklaces, but not sure if I will be able to pull those off. What is your favorite item?

I already showed you the film H&M made of me and Brenda during trend scouting at the Roskilde festival in Denmark here. And I promised to show you some of the pictures we took.

Let me start by saying that everyone in Denmark almost always looks very fashionable. Especially Copenhagen is one of the most stylish cities in Europe in my opinion. Even though by the second day nobody really cared anymore about the way they looked, and everyone, including myself, started looking like crap from all the rain, dirt, partying, not sleeping and not showering, a lot of these people still managed to look pretty good.

Above are some of the pictures I liked most, with some random festival shots in between. Although it might look really depressing because of all the dark clouds, I had the best time. Loads and loads of thanks to the people at H&M!
